This week's Cal Banyan's Hypnosis Etc with Celeste Hackett is all about getting kids into hypnosis and working with them.

We answer a question from a hypnotist whose client is 10 years old.  She wants to know, among other things, can she do 5-PATH.  Check it out at www.calbanyan.com.  It's just 20 minutes long and take a moment and wish Cal a happy birthday will ya?

Happy Birthday Cal  (it was November 14th).

    Does Self-Hypnosis Really Work**

Saturday, October 18, 2008, 12:05 PM CST [General]

That is the major portion of discussion on this Week's Cal Banyan's Hypnosis Ect with Celeste Hackett.

You may find that your clients have tried self-hypnosis with no luck.  If so, how do you tell them that hypnosis with a professional is better and different?  How many issues should your client work with at a time when doing selfj-hypnosis?  Is it necessary to be in somnambulism when practicing self-hypnosis?

These questions and other great ones are answered in episode #90!

    Love you!

Do Clients have a right to be angry all the time????

Saturday, October 11, 2008, 01:44 PM CST [General]

IF so...is it helpful to help them get over it?  And how do you do that?

This is the topic of our Hypnosis Etc Show this week.  If you have ever had a client who had on-going problems in a marriage or divorce situation or at work or elsewhere you really need to help them resolve thier feelings, even if the cause is on-going, but how?

This week's Cal Banyan's Hypnosis Etc with Celeste Hackett may be the best thing yet addressing this topic.  If you are a little sketchy on how to handle this sort of anger situation with your clients then you'll want to make sure you get clear by watching episode #89.

    The Debt Free Hypnotist

Friday, July 4, 2008, 12:14 PM CST [General]

I've been thinking a lot about what makes a hypnosis practice work and one thing I think is extremely important is being a decent manager of money. The truth is if you can't handle money, you'll fail in any business.

Being able to budget, putting money aside to save up for things, saying no to something you know you don't need right now, even when you have a strong desire for it, shopping around for the best prices, and knowing what you are willing to lose are some of the things common to those with good money sense. If you don't have any idea what I am talking about you are not alone. This is why most Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

Every business expert knows that problems and successes trickle down from the top in a business. For instance, a boss who is a good communicator is going to value good communicators and hire those who know how to positively motivate employees. Alternatively, a boss who rules with an iron fist is going to model that behavior and his mid-management won't be very nice to work for. Why is that? It's because people, to a very large degree, bring their knowledge, expertise and mental and emotional make-up into their work lives. In this same way, your business will be an extension of your strengths and weaknesses be it management style, communication or dollars and cents.

So what do you do if your personal Finances are a mess? Relax. Loads of people are out of control with debt and more and more are becoming debt-free. They are even paying off mortgagges and you can too. Do a little search on-line: "Frugal living", "living on a budget" and "getting out of debt". There are loads of websites, message boards and books on the subject that can help you. Also go to www.amazon.com and do a search there on: Becoming debt-free.

One fo my favorites is: The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. He also has a radio show. Also, that support and encourages people while you are learning how to stay within a budget and pay off debt. In fact, you can listen to on-line and it's so inspiring you'll be hypnotized into getting your money under your control!

    MY FINANCIAL GOALS:

I am putting them out here for the world to see:

1-Pay off my debt consolidation loan. - It started out at around 22, 548.00 (can't remember exactly)
About $5,000.00 of that was bizness debt, the rest personal debt, but when you have a sole proprietorship your business debt IS part of your personal debt. GOAL DATE: January 01, 2009

2-GO ON A HONEYMOON WE NEVER HAD - We are thinking about Cuba or Viet Nam.

3--Save up $10,000.00 for emergencies (liquid cash). GOAL DATE; June 4th 2009

4- Pay off our Mortgage - We just bought our house last year. We owe approximately $150,000.00 on it. We are considering moving but I'd like to own A house outright. GOAL DATE: Jyly 20012

5- Open a center where I BUY THE BUILDING.

What are your financial goals for your practice, for your life? I hope you reach them. I know you can do it; you're a HYPNOTIST :O)
