    The Debt Free Hypnotist

I've been thinking a lot about what makes a hypnosis practice work and one thing I think is extremely important is being a decent manager of money. The truth is if you can't handle money, you'll fail in any business.

Being able to budget, putting money aside to save up for things, saying no to something you know you don't need right now, even when you have a strong desire for it, shopping around for the best prices, and knowing what you are willing to lose are some of the things common to those with good money sense. If you don't have any idea what I am talking about you are not alone. This is why most Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

Every business expert knows that problems and successes trickle down from the top in a business. For instance, a boss who is a good communicator is going to value good communicators and hire those who know how to positively motivate employees. Alternatively, a boss who rules with an iron fist is going to model that behavior and his mid-management won't be very nice to work for. Why is that? It's because people, to a very large degree, bring their knowledge, expertise and mental and emotional make-up into their work lives. In this same way, your business will be an extension of your strengths and weaknesses be it management style, communication or dollars and cents.

So what do you do if your personal Finances are a mess? Relax. Loads of people are out of control with debt and more and more are becoming debt-free. They are even paying off mortgagges and you can too. Do a little search on-line: "Frugal living", "living on a budget" and "getting out of debt". There are loads of websites, message boards and books on the subject that can help you. Also go to www.amazon.com and do a search there on: Becoming debt-free.

One fo my favorites is: The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. He also has a radio show. Also, that support and encourages people while you are learning how to stay within a budget and pay off debt. In fact, you can listen to on-line and it's so inspiring you'll be hypnotized into getting your money under your control!

    MY FINANCIAL GOALS:

I am putting them out here for the world to see:

1-Pay off my debt consolidation loan. - It started out at around 22, 548.00 (can't remember exactly)
About $5,000.00 of that was bizness debt, the rest personal debt, but when you have a sole proprietorship your business debt IS part of your personal debt. GOAL DATE: January 01, 2009

2-GO ON A HONEYMOON WE NEVER HAD - We are thinking about Cuba or Viet Nam.

3--Save up $10,000.00 for emergencies (liquid cash). GOAL DATE; June 4th 2009

4- Pay off our Mortgage - We just bought our house last year. We owe approximately $150,000.00 on it. We are considering moving but I'd like to own A house outright. GOAL DATE: Jyly 20012

5- Open a center where I BUY THE BUILDING.

What are your financial goals for your practice, for your life? I hope you reach them. I know you can do it; you're a HYPNOTIST :O)
